Magnificent entrance feature: Large Clown arches

Guests at the circus themed party were ushered into the room through a tunnel of balloon arches featuring larger than life balloon sculptures of clowns wearing polka-dotted trousers!!!

Stage and Backdrop: This consisted of an extra  large wall of brightly coloured balloons in keeping with the “Circus” theme. The large variety of  individual décor elements really helped create the atmosphere of being in the “Big Top” tent of a circus. These include the dwarf  balloon columns topped with “smiley faced ” balloons, upside down balloon columns with small balloon monkey sculptures as well as the use of mainly red and yellow balloons with white accents.

Ceiling Treatment:

Continuing the illusion of being in the “Big Top” of a Circus, the room ceiling was covered with large tapering balloon swags which met in the centre of the room, with a large glowing balloon clown head at its apex. Balloon columns were hung from the ceiling and feature small sculptures of monkeys clambering all over.

Red, white,black with white accents were the colours placed together to put the Mickey Mouse theme together for a child’s birthday party in London recently.

Balloon Inspirations had the pleasure of advising with the Client on contrasting colours for the tables and chairs which complement the Mickey mouse theme and this helped to completely transform the room into a spectacular party venue.

A custom made arch in black  and featuring “Mickey’s ears” formed a backdrop for the stage with several abstract “Mickey sculptures” and the celebrant’s name spelt out in balloons were placed in the foreground.  Several abstract sculptures were hung from the ceiling to help to tie the theme together, additionally creating  a more intimate scale within a very large room.

The colours Ivory and orange were combined with floral greens to create the magical elegant decorations for a Jewish Wedding ceremony.

Balloons help to fill up a large space quite quickly and when this is combined with special details, such as  flowers tucked into the arrangement, then a true spectacle is created.

The use of orange coloured accents and accessories further buttress the overall theme without being overbearing. The soft and fluffy texture of the feather boas used with the table decorations for example,  make a good contrast with the glistening smoothness of the ivory balloons.

Starlite Christmas – Christmas party decorations in a shared Marquee

Even when your Corporate Christmas party is being held in a “shared” venue, it is possible to contrive an atmosphere within an atmosphere, demarcating a specific area for your own party!

Balloons in the traditional Christmas colours of red, gold and green were utilised to create a fun atmosphere around the tables reserved for Balloon Inspirations Clients within this Marquee venue shared with other Corporate parties.

For a fun-filled night, our interactive balloon decorations, in the guise of balloon “stick-men” graced the dance floor along with the guests while impressive balloon columns helped to delineate the extents of the dance floor.

The conundrum presented by the sweltering December weather along with the theme’s allusion to the coldest season of the year in more temperate climates was a relished challenge for the designer at Balloon Inspirations.  The party was held in a large party venue, framed with off -white textile swags, enhancing the transformation into a winter wonderland.

Silver foil balloons  sculpted into large “disco” balls were hung around the ceilings along with balloon star-bursts to help fill the large space.

Additionally, large balloon sculptures of welcoming snowmen and angels ushered in the children to the party, complemented by small table centrepieces of  balloon snowmen.

Santa’s grotto fully epitomised the “winter wonderland” theme with the predominantly white balloon décor, silver tinsel and artificial snow.

The elegant form of this centrepiece makes it suitable for a Corporate dinner party.

The centrepiece features a floral motif carried all through from the small petals at the base culminating in the large petals at the tip. Crystals and gold beads make the centrepiece sparkle in the daytime, while cleverly placed lights will light the centrepiece up at night, creating yet another dimension of interest to this cleverly designed table centrepiece.

A framed balloon  entrance tunnel was created just behind twin “Venetian totem poles” to usher in the Class of 2011 through into their own little corner of  ”Venice”.  The prom decorations comprised entirely of Gold, white and black décor tastefully accented by lighting and accessories.  The star of the day were the intricately formed and lit table centrepieces comprising mystery masks and other balloon accessories.

The high ceilings of the prom venue were taken advantage of  to create spectacular ceiling decorations. These easily helped to bind all the individual elements of the prom decorations into a cohesive whole – from the entrance tunnel/canopy, through to the mystery mask table centrepieces, the stage décor comprising more Venetian totem poles and other floor standing arrangements.

All in all, the decorations were a resounding success, helping to transform a regular venue to a truly spectacular scene, sure to be imprinted in the minds of those who attended the High School Prom for many years to come.

Winnie the pooh balloon sculpture for kid's birthday party balloons

“Winnie – the pooh” themed balloon decorations were prepared for a Child’s birthday party in South East London, UK and comprised of large and tapering balloon swags suspended playfully from the ceiling and culminating in a curiously variegated  3 foot large exploding balloon, popped remotely at the appropriate time during the celebrations.

Additional large (3foot) balloons were suspended from the ceiling using the  contrasting texture of feather boas beside the smooth roundness of the balloons.

In addition to the ceiling decorations, table decorations also featured miniature “Winnie-the -Pooh” balloon sculptures set upon delightful balloon table arrangements.

A playful single arch flanked on either side by a larger-than-life Winnie the Pooh sculpture set amongst abstract balloon flowers created the focal point for the room .

The birthday balloon decorations was executed mainly in red and yellow colours and accented with a small amount of green.

A birthday party for a four year old took place recently in a Restaurant within a Shopping Mall in North London.

An Underwater party theme was chosen for the party and Balloon Inspirations had the pleasure of liaising with the Client to transform the restaurant into a spectacular party venue.

Guests were ushered into the large room by the couple of  ”smiley-faced” clown balloon sculptures placed strategically on either side of the entrance. A second purpose of alerting passers-by to the Restaurant was also served by these fun sculptures.

A large balloon wall (with accents including the celebrant’s initial) built behind the birthday cake table created a primary focal point for the room, whilst a large Octopus balloon sculpture spread it’s balloon tentacles across the ceiling from it’s balloon reef  placed in a corner of the room.

This, in addition to the other short columns hanging from the ceiling formed the aerial décor for the room as table top space was at a premium – reserved for the exotic dishes to be served at the party.

Royal Wedding Party decorations:

Well, with the Royal Wedding hitting the whole of the UK, thanks, in part to the extra Bank Holiday this month, celebration fever has hit almost the entire populace.

Street parties are being planned up and down the UK, though possibly not quite on the same scale as the Lady Di and Prince Charles Wedding all those decades ago.

Rather than having a full street party, (due in part to the hassle of getting permissions for street closures) a large number of people are taking advantage of the good weather  and extra holiday to plan garden parties and join in the revelry of the crown prince and his future Bride.

In addition to the traditional flags, banners and bunting which are strewn across lawns,  balloons make a statement which says “Time to party”! like no other medium can.
