We are always thrilled when a bride and groom to be choose us at Balloon Inspirations to help set the scene for their wedding reception party decorations.
When working in this beautiful reception room at a venue in Orsett Essex, rather than focus on the constraints presented by the load bearing columns in the room and the relatively low ceilings, we decided to capitalise on the columns by creating classic balloon columns in ivory which were softened by the addition of leaves and flowers – (Roses and Gerbera daises).
Table decorations consists of double stuffed balloons in Ivory and clear balloons while jumbo 3 foot balloons with integral lighting cast a warm glow over the new bride and groom at the newly weds top table.

The New Years Eve party, often termed the biggest party night of the year springs to mind as each year draws to a close. Around the end of the year, almost everyone, young and old begin to explore where and with whom they would like to usher in the New Year.

There are various design elements we can include in your design from the entrance right through to your guest tables, dance floor and even a stage if you have one.

The stage or dance floor treatment can be as elaborate or as simple as desired – depending on the atmosphere or feelings you wish to evoke within the party goers. The choice could therefore be between having fun- filled bright and cheerful decor (usually using latex balloons and accessories) glamour or even understated luxury.

As it is traditional to countdown to the New year, creating a loud “bang” or explosion from part your balloon decorations is very effective. Guests would be caught unawares as to the source of the noise until the balloons and confetti flutter down from where they would have been previously rigged. In addition to exploding balloons, we create other “interactive balloon decorations such as our very popular balloon-stick-men. These are very lightly weighted balloon sculptures which we often place around the dance floor in order to generate a lot of fun for guests as they appear to “move” with the music.

The Class of 2014 graduating from a High School in Essex were treated to Las Vegas themed Prom decorations designed and implemented by Balloon Inspirations – One of the UK’s premium event decorating companies.
True to form, once the theme and budget were agreed, we set out to design a large balloon wall spanning the entire width of the venue. This wall served the dual purpose of ushering the guests in to the party area as well as creating a distinct separation between the seating/dance floor area and the bar area. Taking design motifs from the icons of a typical “Vegas” Casino, “Diamonds”, “Spades” and “Hearts” topped the Balloon clusters which served as Table decorations.

Continuing the Vegas theme were the bases of the table decor formed to look like oversize playing dice. Large foil balloon dice and playing cards were placed at the base of the archway leading to the seating area.

I wondered if it’s possibek and what kind of cost it might be to decorate a marquee ceiling with balloons that have fake ivy falling off?
