We are always thrilled when a bride and groom to be choose us at Balloon Inspirations to help set the scene for their wedding reception party decorations.
When working in this beautiful reception room at a venue in Orsett Essex, rather than focus on the constraints presented by the load bearing columns in the room and the relatively low ceilings, we decided to capitalise on the columns by creating classic balloon columns in ivory which were softened by the addition of leaves and flowers – (Roses and Gerbera daises).
Table decorations consists of double stuffed balloons in Ivory and clear balloons while jumbo 3 foot balloons with integral lighting cast a warm glow over the new bride and groom at the newly weds top table.

Christmas party decorations – large balloon “snowflake” sculptures.
As though the fact that Christmas falls in the winter in the Northern hemisphere is not enough, the penchant for creating “wintry” scenes and backdrops for Christmas party decorations does not seem to be lessening.
An effective method that Balloon Inspirations has utilised for filling up large spaces, particularly in rooms with high ceilings is the introduction of Balloon Snowflake sculptures often of varying sizes in order to mimic snowlake occurence in nature. These giant snowflakes are often made up of white and clear round latex balloons with accessories in silver light blue and other popular Christmas colours.
The incorporation of lighting within the decorations additionally enhance the atmosphere of a cold wintry evening where appropriate while other decoration elements such as lit balloon Christmas trees, lit balloon parcels and balloon table decorations all contribute to the general “Christmassy” ambiance of the party room.
Fire and Ice themed balloon party decorations – overview:
‘Tope Abulude from Balloon Inspirations was awarded the pleasure of creating the designs for table centerpieces at the Grand Gala night of the 2014 World Balloon Convention in Denver USA. As the theme was “fire and Ice”, two centerpieces were designed, each depicting Fire and Ice respectively and replicated multiple times to fill up the room .
As far as the centrepieces were concerned, no attempt was made to mask the inherent dichotomy of the subjects and the very large room was very visible and deliberately divided into two with a large central aisle separating Fire from Ice, just as these two elements could not coexist for a great length of time in the natural world. The individual fire and ice themed balloon party decorations table centrepieces were designed around shimmering foil balloons and high quality accessories. These were further enhanced by the clever use of lighting to create a truly spectacular atmosphere within the Ball room.
