We are always thrilled when a bride and groom to be choose us at Balloon Inspirations to help set the scene for their wedding reception party decorations.
When working in this beautiful reception room at a venue in Orsett Essex, rather than focus on the constraints presented by the load bearing columns in the room and the relatively low ceilings, we decided to capitalise on the columns by creating classic balloon columns in ivory which were softened by the addition of leaves and flowers – (Roses and Gerbera daises).
Table decorations consists of double stuffed balloons in Ivory and clear balloons while jumbo 3 foot balloons with integral lighting cast a warm glow over the new bride and groom at the newly weds top table.

The elegant form of this centrepiece makes it suitable for a Corporate dinner party.
The centrepiece features a floral motif carried all through from the small petals at the base culminating in the large petals at the tip. Crystals and gold beads make the centrepiece sparkle in the daytime, while cleverly placed lights will light the centrepiece up at night, creating yet another dimension of interest to this cleverly designed table centrepiece.

Balloon Inspirations was recently called upon to create Venetian themed décor for a High School Prom in Essex. Of the several possible ways to introduce the romance of Venice to the venue of the School Prom, Balloon Inspirations chose the mystery of “Venetian Masks” to create the ambience of a night in Venice.

A framed balloon entrance tunnel was created just behind twin “Venetian totem poles” to usher in the Class of 2011 through into their own little corner of “Venice”. The prom decorations comprised entirely of Gold, white and black décor tastefully accented by lighting and accessories. The star of the day were the intricately formed and lit table centrepieces comprising mystery masks and other balloon accessories.

The high ceilings of the prom venue were taken advantage of to create spectacular ceiling decorations. These easily helped to bind all the individual elements of the prom decorations into a cohesive whole – from the entrance tunnel/canopy, through to the mystery mask table centrepieces, the stage décor comprising more Venetian totem poles and other floor standing arrangements.

All in all, the decorations were a resounding success, helping to transform a regular venue to a truly spectacular scene, sure to be imprinted in the minds of those who attended the High School Prom for many years to come.

I wondered if it’s possibek and what kind of cost it might be to decorate a marquee ceiling with balloons that have fake ivy falling off?
The marquee is 18mx 12m.
