We are always thrilled when a bride and groom to be choose us at Balloon Inspirations to help set the scene for their wedding reception party decorations.
When working in this beautiful reception room at a venue in Orsett Essex, rather than focus on the constraints presented by the load bearing columns in the room and the relatively low ceilings, we decided to capitalise on the columns by creating classic balloon columns in ivory which were softened by the addition of leaves and flowers – (Roses and Gerbera daises).
Table decorations consists of double stuffed balloons in Ivory and clear balloons while jumbo 3 foot balloons with integral lighting cast a warm glow over the new bride and groom at the newly weds top table.

A birthday party for a four year old took place recently in a Restaurant within a Shopping Mall in North London.
An Underwater party theme was chosen for the party and Balloon Inspirations had the pleasure of liaising with the Client to transform the restaurant into a spectacular party venue.
Guests were ushered into the large room by the couple of “smiley-faced” clown balloon sculptures placed strategically on either side of the entrance. A second purpose of alerting passers-by to the Restaurant was also served by these fun sculptures.
A large balloon wall (with accents including the celebrant’s initial) built behind the birthday cake table created a primary focal point for the room, whilst a large Octopus balloon sculpture spread it’s balloon tentacles across the ceiling from it’s balloon reef placed in a corner of the room.
This, in addition to the other short columns hanging from the ceiling formed the aerial décor for the room as table top space was at a premium – reserved for the exotic dishes to be served at the party.
The pictures featured below give an overview of the decorations.
Royal Wedding Party decorations:
Well, with the Royal Wedding hitting the whole of the UK, thanks, in part to the extra Bank Holiday this month, celebration fever has hit almost the entire populace.
Street parties are being planned up and down the UK, though possibly not quite on the same scale as the Lady Di and Prince Charles Wedding all those decades ago.
Rather than having a full street party, (due in part to the hassle of getting permissions for street closures) a large number of people are taking advantage of the good weather and extra holiday to plan garden parties and join in the revelry of the crown prince and his future Bride.
In addition to the traditional flags, banners and bunting which are strewn across lawns, balloons make a statement which says “Time to party”! like no other medium can. It is relatively easy to transform your garden or even your front room into a patriotic and fun venue for your party. This get you firmly in the mood to toast the newly weds with style, or if you are not a royalist, just celebrate anyway!
Right from the street, a large bunch of blue, red and white balloons could greet your guests, assuring them they’ve found the right place! Then, depending on how large your front garden is, you could have small balloon columns leading up to your front door.
Helium filled balloons with ribbon streamers as used here:
make for really effective ceiling/indoor décor and would instantly transform your Lounge into a fun party venue.
If you really wish to splash out and have the space to do it in, BalloonInspirations.com could create a balloon wall in the form of the Union Jack – a great backdrop for any party
Anyway, whichever way you choose to celebrate with family and friends this long weekend; glued to your TV or basking in the sun, do have a great time!
You have heard this talked about for almost as long as you can remember; a major event in the school life of High School leavers, and secretly, you have looked forward to dressing up for your own prom! The marquee is 18mx 12m.
